If you’re a keen youtube viewer then you’ll have noticed how many ‘celebrity inspired’ make-up videos there are! So, here at MadeUp we thought we’d try another one out as Fran has already done a Kardashian one so this will add to the collection. I really enjoyed making this video as I would never usually wear this much make-up so it was fun experimenting.
We really wanted to find a wig for this video but we didn’t have time, however, we did try spraying my hair black but it was such a disaster Rich had to go in really close for the intro shot to try and hide it! It was another really fun filming day but we did eat pizza AGAIN!
Fran did a beautiful Rita Ora and Taylor Swift and I did a Zooey Deschanel so lots more videos to come…
Check out Fran’s youtube tutorial! Happy Halloween!
Hello, I just wanted to write a short post to tell you what we’ve both been up to as I’m aware we’ve gone off the radar a bit!
Made Up is still relatively new and although we don’t post that often I am currently writing up a schedule that will hopefully take effect soon! We’re constanstly learning from other bloggers and vloggers that you have to stick to a schedule to keep your readers and viewers engaged.
What Fran and I have both realised is that blogging and vlogging is like having a full time job! (we both have jobs and I’m working on the relaunch of my own website) so busy times ahead.
We have a real passion for Made Up and we’re really happy that people are watching our videos! It’s great to get new subscribers and comments, it motivates us to create more content.
Fran is travelling around the world at the moment (lucky girl) but she’s going to be doing some posts, when she can, about her finds from around the globe, how exciting!
If you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel you’ll see we’re uploading a video a week so we’re getting into a bit of a routine! We’re both on instagram too, I’m laurenmakeup and Fran is frankaymakeup.
We’ve got lots of new content to upload so I’ll make sure we tweet/facebook/instagram it!!
So one half of made up has gone travelling to Asia – leaving the lovely Lauren behind. Selfish I know! My first stop was South Korea visiting friends in Seoul. Seoul is an amazing city with lots of beauty and makeup stores galore. As I’m backpacking it is very hard not to buy loads of products en route – dragging makeup through south east Asia is not really the best plan. I did however send Lauren a couple of surprises through the post so hopefully she will do some blogettes when they arrive! I did however pick up this marshmallow puff! I couldn’t resist. Obviously just a take on the ever popular beauty blender – using a rolling motion you dip it in your foundation ( only use a small amount) and apply to the skin. A little goes a long way here and it leaves a nice finish and it doesn’t soak up the product like a lot of other cosmetic sponges do. It’s off to the Phillipines for me so expect another blog from me when I arrive on the fabulous island of Malapascua! Tara for now…. Your world beauty blogger, Fran xx
Will be uploading a brand new video tonight! Fran goes a bit vintage..
